Broken Soliloquy explores the subvocality of two wind instruments, flute and saxophone, as a seamless stream of inner voices from one’s deep unconscious. This sonic soliloquy, where the two are treated as a unified instrumental voice, is expanded by electronics featuring a rich timbral palette incorporating voices, guzheng, strings, and sounds generated by RAVE (Real-time Audio Variational autoEncoder).
